This is based on reportage from a fascinating debate on single payer health care at the annual National Health Policy Forum, put on by America's Health Insurance Plans (a health insurance forum), in which Sir Donald Berwick, MD (an American and former head of CMS who was knighted for his role in reforming the British National Health Service) discussed the matter with two other thinkers, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, PhD and Larry Leavitt.
